About
Hi, my name is Jan Rijk and I am a photographer based in the Netherlands. I mainly take photos of gigs, festivals, and landscapes. I’ve been fascinated by live music for as long as I can remember. Actually, it was the love for live music that got me into shooting photos at concerts – It made me realise that I could combine two of the things I enjoy most with getting up close and personal with artists that I love. For me, concert photography isn’t just about a job or a profession; it’s about a passion, and the privilege to have the very best seat in the house every night. My goal is to capture moments in the best possible way as to record some good times and to share these fine moments with others.
